This is the Christmas tree that my parents bought the year I was born. It remained our family Christmas tree for many years and eventually was replaced for a real tree as we got older a little older. When Dustin first became a teacher, my parents gave him the Christmas tree for his classroom. Every year this little tree is resurrected with a new group of students who care for it, make decorations for it and make the little Charlie Brown Christmas tree one of beauty. Dustin always reminds them to look after it very carefully as it is as old as his wife. I picked up Dustin today from school as it is his last day of school today. I couldn’t help taking a photograph of this beloved tree.
